2008 Special Olympics East Asia Regional Athletics Competition was held successfully in Macau On Oct 19 2008. Over 200 Special Olympics athletes from China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau took part in the competitions. SOEA Managing Director Anna Chan and Sports Director Charlie Chang also attended the event.

The Regional Athletics Competition, hosted by Special Olympics Macau, is one of the five regional competitions for this year. Along with the competition, Special Olympics Healthy Athletes was also implemented.
