2009 SO World Winter Games ended successfully on February 13rd in Boise, Idaho, US. 24 athletes from Hong Kong SAR competed in Figure Skating, Speed Skating and Snowshoeing and won 9 gold, 11 silver and 17 bronze medals. Speed skater Mr. Ton, Hsuen Dar Kuan goaled three champigns alone, making himself the best of the team.

Before the team left for the games, SO Hong Kong held a flag presentation ceremony on January 12th. Ms. Tsang Pau Siu-Mei, SO Hong Kong sponsor, Mr. Tsang Tak-sing, JP, Secretary for Home Affairs and Mr. Timothy Tsun-Ting FOK, Chairman of Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, were all presented to encourage athletes to win glory for Hong Kong.
