Shanghai Racquet Club Donates Tennis Equipment to Special Schools in Shanghai

On August 13 2008, Shanghai Racquet Club & Apartments donated the tennis equipment of RMB 50,000 to Shanghai special schools. Shanghai Zha Bei Special School received this donation as representative with a small ceremony. About 30 special school students, teachers and volunteers took part in the activity. Director of Tennis Shanghai Racquet Club, Mr. Adam Gardner and his assistant Mr. Dennis, SO Shanghai staff and SOEA staff attended the ceremony.

The purpose of donating tennis equipment to several special schools in Shanghai is to provide the students of the schools with access to tennis equipment so that they can hopefully learn and develop their skills in the sport of tennis.

The kids are so glad to see the tennis equipment. It fit them well, convenience, flexible, and easy to set up for playing.

Mr. Adam Gardner, Director of Tennis Shanghai Racquet Club, said: "We sincerely hope that the equipment will create opportunities to learn and play tennis for the students of the schools. We plan to follow up with a tennis clinic for the students."
